A Health Cash Plan is a simple and affordable way to spread the cost of your routine healthcare it allows you to claim money back towards the cost of your essential healthcare, as well as providing access to valuable health and wellbeing services.
How it works
Simply pay a small monthly premium and you can claim cashback on dental, optical and therapy treatments which includes osteopathy, physiotherapy and chiropody, plus other benefits. You can choose your level of cover. There are no medicals required and you can cover others in your household (including children until their 18th birthday).

Want to see a specialist quickly, consider what happens after diagnosis.
If you don't already have PMI but want to consider visiting a specialist consultant privately (to avoid NHS waiting lists) you can use a health cash plan towards the costs of that appointment. However, there are a couple of things to consider.
If as a result of that appointment your diagnosis requires treatment and you then want to take out PMI to cover your costs and get treated quickly, you will not be covered for the condition that you have been diagnosed with. You may of course be happy to have peace of mind of your diagnosis and then go back through the NHS for your treatment.
When you take out BupaCare private medical Insurance through Eduhhealth you are covered from the day you take out your policy, but not for new symptoms you already have or any ongoing existing health conditions.
